Entrepreneurs with Kids: This Quote Could Change Your Life

“20 years from now, the only people who will remember how late you worked are your kids.” -Sahil Bloom

This quote hits really hard, especially on those late nights when it feels of the utmost importance to finish whatever you're working on. We all could use a reminder of when to close the laptop and be present with what really matters in life. If you found out you had terminal cancer tomorrow, how important would work feel compared to spending time with your family?

We all need a little perspective sometimes. This quote is a good one to print out, and tape to your office wall as a constant reminder.

Taking an idea, adding value to it, and executing it is what makes me tick - I love making something from nothing.

I am passionate about business strategy/vision, startups, sales development and marketing. I enjoy finding an opportunity, bringing it to life from napkin sketch to reality, and creating a game plan that turns that opportunity in to a brand that employees and customers are enthusiastic about. I'm always up for talking with people who are interested in (or are already) building sustainable, responsible, growing companies.

I have co-founded a number of companies, currently splitting my time between Mobile Outfitters, PAW5 and GSW Real Estate (in that order), and hold a board position at the Philadelphia chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization, a non-profit network exclusively for entrepreneurs. In my spare time I run, bike, garden, wood work, cook, and make killer coffee.
